The New Ram 1500 Classic is Available in Central Texas at Ram Country

Fans of Ram's traditional light-duty truck design will be happy to find that the familiar Ram truck experience continues with the new 1500 Classic. This model retains many of the features that have been upgraded or changed with Ram's newly redesigned 1500 trucks. If you prefer the style and options that you've come to expect from previous model years, feel free to look at what the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic has to offer to drivers in the Del Rio region.

The 1500 Classic keeps the traditional crosshair grille design of previous 1500 models, as well as streamlined body contours. The RamBox cargo system makes full use of every square foot of bed space with side rail cabinets, and you can choose between chrome or powder-coated black accented styles with different trim packages.

Cabin and Bed Sizes of the Ram 1500 Classic

The Ram 1500 Classic includes the same three cab options as previous 1500 models: Regular, Quad, and Crew. If you liked the regular cab size, the 1500 Classic is the truck to consider because the redesigned 1500 eliminates it. The Regular cab is a two-door configuration that seats three people. It also gives you a choice between a standard 6-foot bed or an extended 8-foot bed. The Quad and Crew cabs offer a four-door configuration that seats five or seven people, respectively.

Ram 1500 Classic Trim Levels

Ram simplified the 1500 Classic's available trims to four options: Express, Tradesman, Big Horn, and Warlock. The Express offers two powerful engine options and a style upgrade with a black accent package. The Tradesman trim offers the same workhorse engines and a split-bench, vinyl interior design. The Big Horn includes 20-inch chrome wheels, a power driver seat, and parking assistance technology. The top-line Warlock trim has a specially-designed front-end, black exterior accents, and a lifted suspension, making it an excellent option for drivers that want to stand out in Mineral Wells.

Each of these trim levels share the same capabilities that you need to get your work done each day. The Ram 1500 Classic is powered by a standard Pentastar V6 with 305 horsepower, and it can be upgraded to the more powerful 5.7L HEMI V8 powertrain with 395 horsepower. Ram is also rolling out an EcoDiesel V6 engine late in 2019 with better fuel efficiency for buyers who don't need that extra horsepower. All this power means the 1500 Classic can haul a bit more than 1,900 lbs. and tow up to 10,700 lbs.

Infotainment Technology for Your Ram Truck

Ram built the 1500 Classic's command center around the Uconnect 4C NAV. Mounted on the center dash, it features an 8-inch touchscreen that puts productivity and entertainment technology at your fingertips. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will integrate your mobile devices, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot makes internet access available on the road. You also get access to music and entertainment channels with SiriusXM Radio. An optional subscription to SiriusXM Guardian includes access to roadside assistance in remote locations.

Technology to Improve Your Safety

Ram includes several cutting-edge safety technologies in the latest edition of the 1500 Classic, making it a truck you can drive confidently. The Uconnect 4C NAV infotainment center provides safety and security notifications, and a rear-view camera feed is displayed on its touchscreen to make difficult backing tasks easier to manage. Ram's ParkSense and Park Assist System automate much of the guesswork when parking in tight spots.

The Ram 1500 Classic also improves stability and control when towing heavy loads in inclement weather. Electronic Stability Control responds to road conditions in real time. Trailer Sway Control adjusts braking and engine power to counteract trailer swaying in windy conditions. Hill Start Assist holds the 1500 Classic's position when starting from a stop on an incline by keeping the brakes engaged until your foot is on the accelerator.
