Offroading in the All New Jeep Compass Trailhawk

The 2017 Jeep Compass is available in four different trims: Sport, Latitude, Trailhawk, and Limited. The base Sport includes in-demand features like a 2.4-liter MultiAir® engine, Parkview® backup camera, and a Uconnect® multimedia system with a five-inch touchscreen. The Latitude gives you a more refined exterior design, including alloy wheels, fog lights and body-color rearview mirrors and door handles. In the limited, you get a perfect blend of refinement and style, including leather seating, a two-tone black roof, and more. But the trim we want to share with you is the Compass Trailhawk, which has Best-in-Class 4x4 capability.

As you can plainly see in the video above, this Jeep's offroading capabilities are unmatched. The Compass Trailhawk features Jeep's select terrain system, which allows you to choose between five different terrain modes: auto, snow, sand, mud, and rock. The Compass Trailhawk is even capable of water fording in depths less than 19 inches. Plus, when you choose the Trailhawk trim, you get tow hooks, a four-wheel independent suspension, skid plates, and a 20:1 crawl ratio for traversing steep grades.
